The field stations and natural reserves are central to the university’s mission of teaching, research and public service.
The field stations and reserves are supported through a mix of user fees, grants, endowments and donations. Funding supports research and teaching activities in these living laboratories. Your donations will go to maintain facilities, upgrade equipment, explore new technologies , support staff and keep these lands under protection. Contributions allows cutting edge research in ecology, fire dynamics, water resources and climate change to continue. We are currently seeking funding for the development of new educational, outreach and training opportunities for schools and local communities.
